Mr. Puggle Movie Monday: Big Bubble Baby!

Yeah, Mr. Puggle is a tough south side dog, that humped a real pit bull yesterday at the dog park, but won't drink out of a new water bowl because of some lil' bubbles. He would rather lick the drips off the floor. Big baby!

Ask Mr. Puggle

Came across this question. Leave your advice on their blog. Any doggie trainers in the puggle posse?

If Mr. Puggle was the star of Cavalia in Chicago

Some of the AMAZING cast members signed an autograph for Mr. Puggle. If you look close, you can see the gal holding his card and the man holding the autograph. Words cannot describe the show, it is a must see. At one point there are eight horses doing a choreographed dance and only one human cast member directing. AWESOME!

Mr. Puggle Fino, "Biba Guahan!"

Hafa Adai! July 21st is Guam's Liberation Day!

I, the lady that feeds Mr. Puggle, have a special place in my heart for the island of Guam and the Chamoru people. There is not enough room to list all the wonderful things about Guahan in this post.

I was honored to meet courageous people that survived the Japanese invasion and occupation. Imagine a young mother kneeling to tie a bonnet on her four year old daughter. A special bonnet she hand made with padding in the ears to help dull the noise from exploding bombs. Imagine kissing your child and handing her over to your mother in law and then hiding in the jungle knowing if you are caught you would be brutally raped and killed. No food. No water. No light. No shelter. Hiding in the dark jungle with the snakes, bugs, spiders, bats etc. Scaling a cliff as bombs hit all around you only to reach the top and run between dead and semi-dead moaning bodies grabbing at your ankles. Imagine the US Soldiers arriving and sacrificing their blood, limbs, and lives to liberate you.

I am thankful for the US Soldiers who, only 65 years ago, gave their lives to save that little girl. If they didn't, she would have never grown up to give birth to my husband. The man who picked out Mr. Puggle. Si Yu'us ma'ase! Biba Guahan!

If Mr. Puggle was the Mascot for White Fence Farm

You would have to see the restaurant and taste the fritters to believe the greatness of the family owned White Fence Farm. They can seat 1,100 people at a time and serve over 4,000 chicken meals on Mother's Day. They have 12 dinning rooms and a waiting area filled with antiques and games. If you are ever on the WAY south side of Chicago, drop in for dinner. They don't do lunch. They do do tour groups. AND they have a petting zoo with Llamas, sheep, African pygmy goats and chickens. No, no, no the chickens are just pets.

Ask Mr. Puggle: Puggle Pooper Problem

Calling on the Puggle Posse! Please leave your sage advice to keep a fellow puggle out of of puggle pooper jail.

Mr. Puggle....My name is Dakota Rudolph...I am a male (ahem) puggle. My humans are getting quite frustrated with me as I love to poop in the house while they are gone. I don't know why I poop I just do. My mom Kim (she's 11) always takes me outside and I do my business rather nicely...I make sure I get a good smell before I go back into the house. However after today my grandma (Shannon) had a fit and put my nose in my own poop. I'm still mad at her for that. Any suggestions on how I can stop this? I do not want to be caged up because as we know cages are for "animals" and we puggles are not animals, we are rulers of our domain, kings of our castles. If my humans lock me in a crate like they've been mentioning on grandma's facebook then how can I sit on the window sill and look out and bark? Can you help?
Thanks, Dakota Rudolph - 18 mos old.

Join Mr. Puggle's posse on Facebook. Check out all his puggle friends to include Shannon Finley Rudolph's fur grand baby Dakota

Mr. Puggle comes out of hiding!

Mr. Puggle needed a good stretch after hiding under the bed so long. Does your puggle do this? Do tell. Also, can you answer the survey in upper right hand corner? Thanks Kindly

I Hear Fireworks

I will be hiding under the bed until they stop. While in hiding, I want you puggles to be taking pictures of your cute selves for an upcoming contest. I will be choosing some puggles for a special project.

Photo suggestions: Take pictures outdoors in the shade or on a very overcast day but still use your flash. Stand 10-15ft away from the puggle and make sure you zoom in. Zoom in closer than you think you should. Try different angles too. Either very low or very high. Use a tripod to get a sharp image (or put camera on a table or chair and use your timer) because when you zoom in you get camera shake. Or, use your sports setting to really freeze the shot.

See ya in a few days when the fireworks stop and I will give you the rest of the details. I am one grateful puggle that I live in the Great USA! The Great Independent & Free USA! God Bless America! Gotta go....hear another one.

PS. Keep voting for all the puggles on twitter every 20 minutes. I see Eduardo joined in too. Puggle Power! VOTE HERE!
