May God Bless Your 2010!

WOW! What a year. I started my first blog and it was about a dog. How could I ever see THAT coming? Or that he would be trademarked!?! Which makes me ponder this upcoming year. What new things will I do? What new inventions will come to be that I can use as creative outlets. I use digital cameras, computers, & the internet now. None were used by the public until the second half of my life. How could I predict Facebook, Twitter, & Blogger?

As a little girl, I would draw pictures and sell them door to door. (without my parents knowledge) My world was only as big as my block. Now my pictures are seen around the world. Crazy! Mind blowing! People in Paris are drinking coffee from a mug with a picture of my dog on it. Life sure is funny. Mr. Puggle has been seen in every state in the nation and over 50 countries.

I committed to blogging for one year to push myself creatively. I was unaware of all the crazy dog people I would meet. Dog people are the best. What kind and loving spirits. I don't know what my blog will look like in 2010 but I am looking forward to finding out. I also look forward to staying connected with all the folks I have met this year. God is good and I pray He blesses your 2010! Jennifer-the lady that feeds Mr. Puggle

Mr. Puggle® wishes you a Happy Thanksgiving

As President, George Washington made the following proclamation and created the first Thanksgiving Day designated by the national government of the United States of America:

Whereas it is the duty of all Nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefits, and humbly to implore his protection and favor, and whereas both Houses of Congress have by their joint Committee requested me "to recommend to the People of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many signal favors of Almighty God especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness.

Now therefore I do recommend and assign Thursday the 26th day of November next to be devoted by the People of these States to the service of that great and glorious Being, who is the beneficent Author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be. That we may then all unite in rendering unto him our sincere and humble thanks, for his kind care and protection of the People of this Country previous to their becoming a Nation, for the signal and manifold mercies, and the favorable interpositions of his providence, which we experienced in the course and conclusion of the late war, for the great degree of tranquility, union, and plenty, which we have since enjoyed, for the peaceable and rational manner, in which we have been enabled to establish constitutions of government for our safety and happiness, and particularly the national One now lately instituted, for the civil and religious liberty with which we are blessed; and the means we have of acquiring and diffusing useful knowledge; and in general for all the great and various favors which he hath been pleased to confer upon us.

And also that we may then unite in most humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of Nations and beseech him to pardon our national and other transgressions, to enable us all, whether in public or private stations, to perform our several and relative duties properly and punctually, to render our national government a blessing to all the people, by constantly being a Government of wise, just, and constitutional laws, discreetly and faithfully executed and obeyed, to protect and guide all Sovereigns and Nations (especially such as have shown kindness unto us) and to bless them with good government, peace, and concord. To promote the knowledge and practice of true religion and virtue, and the encrease of science among them and Us, and generally to grant unto all Mankind such a degree of temporal prosperity as he alone knows to be best.

Puggle Posse Powers Activate!

Puggle Posse, I need your help. I was asked to do an interview about puggles. To get a more well rounded description, would you answer the following questions in the comment section? Thanks!

1. Would you say the Puggle is a small or medium sized dog?
2. Does the Puggle shed a lot and is it suitable for allergy sufferers?
3. Does this breed have specialist grooming needs?
4. Would you say the Puggle is a low, medium or high energy dog?
5. What kind of exercise requirements does this dog breed have?
6. Would you say (assuming a well socialised puppyhood) that the Puggle is
a) good with children
b) good with other pets
c) suitable for apartment living
7. Any special health issues present in the breed?
8. Any other comments about the Puggle to round off ‘the interview’?

So Help Me God

An Editorial from the lady that feeds Mr. Puggle...

I have traveled around the world and have found no greater nation than the USA. God placed my toes on American soil and I am forever grateful to live in a free country.
As a teenager, I raised my right hand and said, "I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God." So did every generation of my family since they immigrated to this great nation including my son.
Great Great Grandpa -WWI
Both Grandpas-WWII with 2 Purple Hearts
Uncle-Korea
Father-Vietnam
Me-Desert Storm
Son-Iraq

American is such a small percent of the world's population yet, we are overly blessed that we can give and share with the world. I think, it is because God is in our foundation. However, people are trying to remove God from America. One man was offended by a WWI memoria so he sued; causing a single little cross mounted on a rock in the middle of the desert to be covered by a bag. (Watch here) Our courts put a bag over a monument erected to those that gave their life for this country. How shameful & irreverent. Where will this new path take the USA in the end? Can you imagine how many bags it would take to cover Arlington National Cemetery? Do we really want to remove God from America and break up our foundation? Bag our history? "You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men" says Matthew 5:13.

America, let us honor our vets by being responsible, lawful, kind, protective and patriotic citizens. God Bless the USA!

2010 Puggle Calendar

The 2010 Puggle Calendar is finally here! Yes, it is the 2010 Puggle Posse for P.A.W.S. Calendar & Mini Calendar. Mr. Puggle will donate all his profits to the Tinley Park P.A.W.S. Non-Profit organization. Thank you to all the puggle posse members who donated pictures of their adorable puggles to make this happen. Puggle Power!

If your puggle isn't in the calendar, please understand it is only for technical reasons. Either there was red eye I couldn't fix, too low a resolution, or no picture at all. If this year goes well, Mr. Puggle will do it next year. There will be plenty of time then and plenty of room for every puggle that wants to participate in 2011.
